To enhance socio-economic conditions of women in Odisha Women And Child Development Department, Government of Odisha launched SUBHADRA Yojana, the name is inspired from the name of God Jagannath’s sister Subhadra.
Main aim of this scheme is to empower women by providing financial support, enhancing digital literacy thus making them access to social safety nets.

Benefits of SUBHADRA Yojana
Main benefits of this Yojana include,
• A Financial Support of ₹50,000/- over 5 years of span (₹10,000/- a year in two installments of ₹5,000/-) from 2024-25 to 2028-29.
• To incentivize digital transactions Odisha government will provide an additional of Rs. 500 to top 100 women in each gram panchayat and urban local body who is doing highest digital transactions in the given year.
• PLUS all beneficiaries will be given a SUBHADRA card which can be used as ATM-cum debit card to facilitate al financial transactions.
Eligibility
This scheme is only for the women with fulfilling below criteria,
• Woman Applicant must be resident of Odisha and having age between 21 to 60 years on the qualifying date.
• Woman applicant should have card under National Food Security Act (NFSA) or State Food Security Scheme (SFSS) – if not then she can only apply if her family’s annual income is not more than 2 Lakh 50 thousand rupees.
Ineligibility
• Applicant paying income tax will be ineligible.
• Applicant receiving pension after retirement will be ineligible
• Under any other scheme, Applicant receiving financial assistance of Rs. 1500/- monthly or Rs. 18,000/- yearly will be ineligible.
• Applicant is currently or former MP (Member of parliament) or MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly) or employed under State or Central Government of India, Public Sector Undertaking or Board or Local Body or Government Organization OR a public representative under any Panchayati Raj Institution or Urban Local Body (excluding Ward Member / Councillor) will be ineligible.
• Owner of 4-wheeler motor (except light goods vehicle, tractors, mini-trucks or small commercial vehicle) will be ineligible.
Required Documents
- Aadhaar card with linked mobile number
- A single owner bank account with Linked Aadhaar card & DBT (Direct benefit transfer) enabled
Note: If applicant doesn’t have above kind of bank account then she can open one (Or enable the required facility in existing account) and then can apply.
Subhadra Yojana Online and Offline Apply with eKYC
You can apply for Subhadra yojana both online and offline. Follow the below steps for application,
Steps,
1. Visit you nearest Common Service Centre, Mobile Service Centres, Anganwadi Centres, Block Offices, Urban Local Body Offices and fill up the pre-printed form offline or online form at the respective center.
2. Once the application is submitted successfully then you have to do eKYC by doing face-authentication from SUBHADRA mobile application. You will need Aadhaar number to start eKYC process.
3. Now your application will be verified by Government officials and the application will be approved or rejected accordingly.

SUBHADRA Yojana Status Check
Note: You need to wait for atleast 24 hours after the application to check the status.
By following below steps you can check the application status and also the payment status.
Steps,
To check you application status for this scheme you have to do login on the portal.
1. To login you first visit the official portal : https://subhadra.odisha.gov.in
2. Then from top menu click on ‘Application Status’ or you can go there directly from here with the link: https://subhadra.odisha.gov.in/citizen-login
3. There you have to enter the Aadhaar number and verify it.
4. Once done you will be logged in to your account and you will see your application details with the status whether it is accepted or rejected.
5. Also you will see the status of payment whether it is released and in which bank.
Subhadra Yojana Beneficiary list check
Steps,
1. First visit the official portal https://subhadra.odisha.gov.in, scroll down a little and you will see ‘Beneficiary List’ – just click on that
2. Then in next page select your District, Block/ULB, and GP/Ward and click on ‘View’
3. Now below you will see option to download PDF of the ‘Approved List’ and ‘Rejected List’, just download it and open. There you will see your name in the list.

When will SUBHADRA Yojana instalments be released?
In the given year, first installment will be released on the day of Rakshabandhan (Rakhi Purnima), and second installment will be released on International Women’s Day (i.e. 8th march).
Are there any fees to apply in this scheme?
No, there are no fees to apply in this scheme.

You can get application form by vising CSC, Anganwadi centers, Mobile Service Centres, Anganwadi Centres, Block Offices or Urban Local Body Offices.
What is SUBHADRA CARD?
Subhadra card is ATM cum debit card to facilitate financial transactions.
Does the applicant get an acknowledgment receipt or application number after filling the application form?
Yes, you will get system generated receipt and a unique application number once the application is done. It can be used to check status of application.
What if a beneficiary dies during the plan period?
On the death of the beneficiary, received benefits will be voided and the undisbursed amount cannot be claimed by anyone.
What if an applicant applies at a later date?
Depending on eligibility she will receive the installments for that year and subsequent years regardless of the application date.
Are unmarried women eligible to apply?
Yes, unmarried women are eligible to apply for the scheme.
Could having multiple beneficiaries in a family with single mobile number linked to Aadhaar cards create any problems?
Then all the eligible beneficiaries in the family having Aadhaar linked and DBT enabled bank account is enough to apply and get benefited from the scheme. Then it won’t create any issues.
